Intro: Moving at different ages can have a different impact on a child. Middle childhood, ages six to ten are very formative and filled with milestones kids need to meet. These milestones relate to social and emotional development as well as academic. Children who move frequently at this age may see numerous setbacks or might not reach certain milestones at all. The result of which could be issues in behavior, academia and social situations. Moving can also make kids feel powerless and a profound sense of loss, both of which may contribute to such issues.
